ESL Crew started in 2017 on Facebook and Instagram as a place and a group for my students to interact and share ideas, posts, and ask questions in English about English.

I now offer online lessons so that you can improve and become fluent easily and from the comfort of your own home.

How's it going!

My name is Aaron.

I’m a native-speaking English teacher and a dual citizen of New Zealand and Canada.

I provide fun, effective, and easy-to-learn English lessons online.

My teaching style is student-centered with a focus on real-world English.

My Teaching History

Experience: 

  • 13+ years (since 2010)

Qualifications:

  • CELTA (Cambridge teaching certificate)
  • Bachelor of Business (AUT University)

I decided to teach English in 2010 after graduating from university. It seemed like a fun job and a great way to travel and meet people from around the world.

I taught at some of the best-rated language schools in Auckland, New Zealand, for a few years before moving to Canada, where I continued to teach English to adults.

At my most recent school, I achieved a 99% recommendation rate, based on evaluations from 113 students over three years. In that same sample, I received 100% ratings for clarity of lessons, punctuality, assistance, and engaging lessons.

Throughout my career, I have taught a wide variety of classes. I now specialize in accent reduction/pronunciation, grammar, communication skills, IELTS preparation, and business English.

I switched from the classroom to teaching students online when the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020 and launched my personal website, ESLCrew.com, in 2022.
